Hello Members!,
Our Club nights are back after the Covid enforced break. Our June PB Challenge Club night will be held on Friday 17th of June. We would love to see all of our swimmers joining us for a fun evening.
A PB Challenge is an event which challenges the swimmers to improve their Personal Best times in a time trial or mock swim meet with Timekeepers, a Starter and Officials.
We encourage swimmers to participate, so they get to experience what a real swimming meet feels like but in a fun, low key environment
Swimmers who participate can track their progress across the year as their times improve.
Our coaches attend our PB Challenge nights to give swimmers feedback on their starts, turns and their races.
Points are recorded throughout the year from PB challenge events, with the highest point scorers winning a trophy at the end of the year.
Children do not need to be competitive swimmers to participate, it is a fun night where children can mingle and get to know each other, while practising the skills they have learnt during training.
Warm up commences at 5.45PM, with races beginning at 6PM
All swimmers are required to have a parent to assist with Time Keeping on the night.
The evening will conclude with a sausage sizzle for swimmers and parents.
